Via MyUnisono, users can register declarations, calculate simulations of costs and pay them immediately. Previously, this process was done manually and by post. Using the updated online platform, users can now easily log in and consult the status of all their declarations.
Contribute recently also added the option to pay directly in MyUnisono. Customers immediately get a clear idea of what the costs will be thanks to the cost estimate and can make the payment directly in the platform. Previously, the user had to wait until he received a response by post or email.
The updated application brings increased user-friendliness for the customer on the one hand, and increased efficiency for Sabam itself on the other. “The administration and invoicing has been simplified. The digital process is faster and more cost effective. As a result, we have also enormously increased our level of e-invoicing, which is a great advantage for us.”, confirms Stijn Billen, Application Owner for Licensing at Sabam.
“In addition, we can strengthen our contact with customers with the updated version of MyUnisono. The application provides certainty that customers receive all information. During Corona, we were also able to better assist our customers during difficult times and respond more quickly to their needs.”
The entire front-end of MyUnisono was developed in Oracle APEX. The back-end is built in PL/SQL and SQL. “Contribute was able to act very quickly. Thanks to the development in APEX, things can be picked up quickly, especially compared to the other technologies we currently use.”, Stijn agrees.
Contribute is also responsible for the maintenance of MyUnisono. This not only includes changes and bug fixing, but also further optimization of the application. Page loading times were optimized, among other things, and during Corona new modules were added to request refunds.
